Getting dorsum into the hobby, I'm starting to use the Tamiya acrylics. I am amazed how friendly they are to utilize. When I was big into model edifice I would spray Humbrol with my Badger siphon airbrush. I got information technology for Christmas around 1978. Back and then information technology was $40. I didnt have coin for a compressor, so I used an erstwhile tire as my force per unit area source. Badger sold an adapter for motorcar tire shrader valves.

Now I splurged on a HF compressor, and a NEO Iwata for $50 on ebay, and it makes it fun to airbrush.

Question, how long exercise near wait for the terminal gloss summit coat on the Tamiya acrylics?

I wouldn't be in hurry. Let the groundwork get cured fully. No matter of the glaze kind I ever wait 24 hours at least.

With Wojtek. I always wait 24 hours earlier applying clear or masking record on acrylics. That'due south simply me just I've rarely had a problem with paint lift or chemical reactions.
